Preston Meadow North has a voluntary Home Owners’ Association. Even though homeowners are not required to join, membership is strongly encouraged; HOA dues are our only source of revenue to keep our common areas and entries mowed, watered, lit, and landscaped to maintain our neighborhood’s curb appeal and resale values.
Throughout the year the PMNHOA board members host fun family events as possible, including a Spring Social, National Night Out in October, Christmas decorating contest, and other social events. Food and prizes for these events are donated by members and local merchants, and not paid from homeowners’ HOA dues.
Our ability to maintain a consistent dues level was evidence of the efforts of many who have served on our HOA board, both present and past. However, the reality of increased costs for electricity, lawn maintenance labor, water, and insurance, is such that we will be raising dues to $200, which is less than $17 per month. For those new to our neighborhood or who have allowed their membership to lapse, we strongly encourage you to pay your annual dues. Doing so allows us to provide the continued upkeep of our common areas, helping to maintain property resale values for all. In February our membership drive launches each year. The fee is due April 30th. Information about registering will be included in your membership letter/Spring Newsletter.
